Xin Hua Sports Club was first established in 2016 and made huge waves by winning the champion in the National Basketball League (NBL) qualifying round before continuing to win a championship at the following NBL Division 1 2017. The club subsequently represented Singapore for the 10th SEABA Champions Cup in 2018!
With a strong emphasis on playing high-tempo team basketball, you could expect to see the team share the ball fast and run for quick transition offence. Xin Hua would not go down without putting on a strong defensive fight!
Xin Hua has had the pleasure of playing in overseas invitational tournaments in Malaysia, Thailand, and Macau, helping the team to remain competitive in the ever improving standards of Division 1 Basketball leagues. Xin Hua Sports Club also serves as a platform for talented youths above 18 to train and progress to the senior team to continue their basketball journey.
